Use instructions RSS MK ™ coating:
- Cleaning
The top edge must be thoroughly cleaned so that the surface is free of grease and dirt. Silicone-containing agents may not be used. Use the supplied blue microfibre cloth together with the Isopropanol. (If the top belt is so greasy and dirty, use a degreasing agent first) Make sure that you only clean the edge and never get on the billiard table. If there is no more grease and dirt from the belt, go to step 2 after drying.
- Apply RSS MK ™ coating
You can use the supplied NT80 white cloth to apply the coating. The coating should be applied very thinly. By pressing the cloth on the opened bottle and inverting the bottle, a sufficient amount of coating is applied to the cloth to start coating. Rotate the cloth over the belt in circular movements. A short haze of coating forms on the surface behind the cloth. As long as this haze is visible, there is sufficient coating on the cloth. If this haze diminishes, a new coating can be applied to the cloth. Once all components are treated, we recommend to apply a 2nd layer. This is to ensure that everything has been treated.
- To dry
After treatment of the total surface, the coating needs time to form the desired molecular bond with the substrate.
- Decrease
When a few minutes of drying time have elapsed, any residue from the coating can be removed. You can do this with the used white cloth.
After 24 hours, the surface can only be loaded or exposed to water.
