This Joe Davis snooker cue is crafted by Peradon in England from kiln dried, North American Ash and exotic Ebony.

Manufacture and specifications

The Ash wood is carefully selected for strength and straightness before being turned and machine split into the finest ebony.

An ebony front weld and Sycamore veneer are then spliced ​​onto the stiffeners to further enhance the look.

The cue is then turned to the final tapered finish before the numerous sanding and finishing processes are done to achieve a 'silk smooth' finish.

To avoid joint problems, the two parts of the 'fast acting' joint are each precision turned from a single piece of solid brass and mounted exactly 12" from the end of the rod to give the shank length of 46".

A 'quick action' thrust coupling is fitted to accept the optional extensions on the 'related products' section of this page.

Extensions can be made in the connection in the cue or in the connection of the end.

The stock is finished with a name tag signed by the legendary Joe Davis, who praised Peradon's craftsmanship and gave the company the exclusive right to use his name indefinitely.
