billiard balls

Billiard balls are available for different game types on billiards. For carom, pool and snooker billiards you all use different types of billiard balls and sizes. Most billiard balls are made from a phenolic resin. There are also billiard balls made of plastic. These are much softer in material so that white stripes can remain on the billiards when playing.

The most common brands of billiard balls are:

  • DynaSpheres
  • Aramith
  • predator
  • Brunswick

Carom billiard balls

With carom billiards 3 billiard balls are used. These billiard balls have a diameter of 61.5 mm in almost all cases. The carom billiard balls can differ in color. There are white, white ball with dot and light or dark red billiard balls. Nowadays there are also billiard balls with red or blue dots. This way you can clearly see what the billiard balls do while punching. This is fun for the public but also for the billiard player. Also, yellow billiard balls are used to change the contrast.

Pool billiard balls.

Pool Billiard balls consist of 15 numbered balls from 1 to 15. The billiard balls from 1 to 8 are full colored balls and balls 9 to 15 are half color balls. The cue ball is usually white and sometimes with red or blue dots. The size of the pool billiard balls are normally 57.2mm diameter. The cue ball can also vary in size. This is often because in a pool where you throw money into it that the white ball must be different when it disappears into the hole during the game, that it then comes back.

Snooker billiard balls

These consist of 15 red billiard balls and 6 different color billiard balls. The diameter of the snooker balls is standard 52.4 mm. The white cue ball also has the same diameter. Snooker billiards are also much larger than pool and carom billiards.

Other billiard balls

In addition to complete billiard ball sets, we also supply separate billiard balls . This is of course very useful if a billiard ball is lost or broken. In most cases we can supply a new billiard ball for this. Smaller and larger billiard balls are also possible.

Then there are also special training billiard balls . With this you can improve your billiard game by training.

Cleaning billiard balls

There are different cleaning products to clean billiard balls. We supply a billiard ball spray that you can use daily. With the special cleaning cloth you actually wash the billiard balls. Then there is also a milky liquid. There's a little bit of abrasive in here. Only use this if you can no longer clean the billiard balls with the billiard ball spray. At a billiards club it is sometimes easy to use a ball cleaning machine.
