Normally there is a thermostat connected to the heating. This must be adjusted so that there is about 5 degrees between the temperature in the room and the billiards. As a result, the heating through the thermostat will burn approximately 2/3 (0.66) of the time per hour.

Billiard heating:

This is a porous material and attracts moisture (it fogs up just like a window). If the billiard heating is 3 to 4 degrees higher than the ambient temperature, the billiard cannot contain moisture. The hairs on the billiard cloth then lie flat. The ball then has the least resistance and rolls over the table longer.

We also recommend installing a time clock with regard to the billiard heating. The electrical time savings can be reduced by 50%. By turning on the heating 1.5 hours in advance and also turning it off 1.5 hours before the last player has finished at the billiards. Also switch off the billiards on Sundays, public holidays and holidays. This not only saves a lot of power (energy), but the rubber bumpers also last about 2 years longer.
