This Royal snooker cue is manufactured by Peradon in England from the highest class, kiln-dried North American Ash and exotic ebony.

Manufacturing and specifications

The shaft is carefully selected for strength and straightness before the best, genuine ebony end wood is hand-split onto the cue, and the cue is shaped to produce the distinctive four-round point pattern of a hand-split cue.

To reduce stresses on the wood, the guideline is subsequently shaped over time until the final conical form is achieved, after which numerous sanding and finishing processes are carried out to obtain a 'silk-smooth' finish.

To prevent joint problems, the two parts of the 'quick-acting' connection are each precisely turned from a single piece of solid brass and mounted exactly 12" from the end of the rod to provide a shaft length of 46".

The stock is finished with a Peradon Royal nameplate and a 'fast action' butt lock to accept the optional extensions in the 'related products' section of this page.

Extensions can be made in the ¾ joint of the cue or in the joint of the end.

This cue has a solid brass rim and an Elkmaster point of 9 1/2 to 10 mm.
