Thinning a top end is possible with us. We turn to the size you want. This is possible with all top ends/shafts that are solid. So not top ends that are hollow or composite. Also only for top ends/shafts that are made of wood. We cannot turn carbon.

The price is based on a thickness difference of 1 mm. For every 0.5 mm extra, an additional charge will be made. At 1 mm. We can usually keep the cap/ferrule. With small diameters, the cap/ferrule will often have to be replaced. Making it thinner does not include a new tip. This should actually always be replaced.
