Longoni maple nut with wooden screw and Da Vinci tip

This Longoni top made of Canadian hard rock maple features an Eiffel shape, a wooden screw joint, and a Da Vinci tip. The carefully selected wood undergoes a lengthy drying and processing process. This results in a stable top with a smooth finish.

Canadian hard rock maple

For this top end, Longoni uses selected Canadian hardrock maple. The trees are felled in the winter, when the sap flow is virtually at a standstill. After felling, the wood is sawn into planks and beams, and the natural drying process begins in the open air.

After drying for over a year, the rough wood is turned into top ends for the first time. Subsequently, the rough top ends dry for approximately another year in a climate chamber under constant conditions. This controlled process allows the wood to dry gradually and contributes to the stability of the top end.

Eiffel shape and wooden screw connection

The top end features an Eiffel profile and is fitted with a traditional wooden screw connection. Please check in advance whether this connection is suitable for the butt end of your cue. Not every wooden screw connection is interchangeable.

JBR cap and Da Vinci tip

This Longoni shaft is equipped with a JBR cap , which is hollow up to the underside of the tip. A Da Vinci tip is mounted on it.

At the factory, the tip is treated with special Longoni wax . This treatment ensures a very smooth surface, so that the tip glides comfortably through your support hand.
