This Royal snooker cue is manufactured by Peradon in England from the highest grade, kiln dried, North American Ash and exotic Ebony.

Manufacture and specifications

The shaft is carefully selected for strength and straightness before the finest, genuine ebony butt wood is hand split to the cue and the cue shaped to produce the signature four round dot pattern of a hand split cue.

To reduce stresses to the wood, the cue is then shaped over time until the final conical shape is achieved, after which the numerous sanding and finishing processes are carried out to achieve a 'silk smooth' finish.

To avoid joint problems, the two parts of the 'quick acting' joint are each precision turned from a single piece of solid brass and mounted exactly 12" from the end of the rod to give the 46" shaft length.

The stock is finished with a Peradon Royal nameplate and a 'quick action' butt coupling to accept the optional extensions on the 'related products' section of this page.

Extensions can be made in the ¾ joint in the cue or in the butt joint.

This cue has a solid brass ring and a 9 ½ to 10 mm Elkmaster point.
